QUESTION: What
is the difference in cost of natural vs paid search optimisation
campaigns?
The line here is definitely starting to blur with competition
hotting up in natural and paid search. With 'Paid' search
you pay per click for your traffic, when you stop paying so
does the traffic. With 'Natural' search you pay for initial
optimisation of your site, but ongoing costs relating to maintenance
to keep your rankings and incoming link spend are starting
to look more and more like a 'Paid' search spend. However
if your monthly PPC budget is $10,000 a month, then less than
this annualised amount as a Natural search budget will still
see you get you better returns and more traffic.
