Google Has A Suggestion For You

There's another Google search page that looks just like Google.com, but it can offer you search term suggestions based on what you are keying into the search box. It's called Google Suggest. Mysteriously, unlike other Google products, you cannot get to it with www.suggest.google.com - instead you must bookmark or key in:

http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1

Google Suggest guesses what you're typing as you type into the search box, and gives you suggestions in real time. For example, if you type "car," Google Suggest might offer a list of refinements that include "car insurance" or "car rental " or "cartoon."

Toolbars; Amanda from Sensis wrote to me stating;

You forgot [in last issue] to cover the update to sensis.com.au’s toolbar which allows the toolbar to morph depending on which of Sensis’ sites you want to search in lieu of a standard search engine search.

Here it is: www.sensis.com.au
